We’re an independent repair workshop right in the centre: iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple Watch. And when the fault is inside the logic board, we repair it at chip level instead of telling you your device can’t be fixed. We’ve been doing it since 2015, with more than 2,300 devices repaired.

Apple replaces the part. We repair the board.
Apple has opened up spare-part sales, and that’s real progress. But its catalogue doesn’t contain a single component — only modules. A whole display, a whole camera, and on the MacBook Pro the battery is sold only together with the keyboard and the chassis. The chip that actually failed isn’t for sale, and it never will be.
That’s why Apple’s answer to a faulty board is always the same: replace the whole board. And here’s what almost nobody tells you before you hand the machine over: on MacBooks with the T2 chip and on every Apple Silicon Mac, the storage is soldered to that board and encrypted with it. Replacing the board means losing what was inside. The photos, the documents, years of work.
The backup that would have prevented it almost never exists, and that’s nobody’s fault either: iCloud gives you 5 GB, which isn’t even a year of photos.
We work at the level they never touch: the exact component that failed, not the board carrying it. When that’s possible, the machine goes home repaired and with its data still inside.

How much does it cost to have my device looked at?
The initial diagnosis is free: we check the device, test charging and power-up and rule out the obvious. That’s often enough to know where the fault is. When it needs stripping down and measuring the board under a microscope, that’s an in-depth diagnosis and it does carry a cost; we tell you how much before we start, and you decide.
Are you an Apple Authorised Service Provider?
No, we’re an independent repair workshop. That’s exactly what lets us repair at component level instead of replacing whole boards, which usually costs far more and often pushes you into a new device.
Another shop told me it can’t be fixed. Will you look at it?
Yes, and a second opinion commits you to nothing. If the fault is inside the logic board, a workshop that only swaps modules has no tools to solve it. With microsoldering, many of those faults can be repaired. Bring it in and we’ll tell you honestly whether there’s a way forward.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the fault and on parts availability. Standard screen or battery repairs are quick; a board repair takes longer because the diagnosis is the slow part. We give you a specific timeframe along with the quote.
Could I lose my data?
Standard repairs never touch the storage. Even so, it’s worth arriving with a backup already made. And if the device no longer starts and it’s the photos you care about, say so when you walk in: that’s where we start.
