Repair warranty
Every repair leaves the workshop with a written warranty. Here’s a clear account of what it covers, what it doesn’t, and what to do if something goes wrong.
What it covers
Duration: 12 months. It runs from the invoice date, and you need the invoice to make a claim, so keep it.
If the device had already been repaired before — by another workshop, or opened up before it reached us — the period is 6 months. The reason is simple, and we’d rather say it out loud: a device that has already been opened elsewhere arrives with a history we can’t vouch for, and that limits how far we can stand behind it.
- The part we replaced, against a failure of that component.
- The labour for that specific repair.
- That the repaired fault doesn’t come back from the same cause within the warranty period.
What it doesn’t cover
This is the part almost nobody writes down, and the part that prevents misunderstandings:
- Knocks, drops and moisture after the repair. A new screen that breaks in a fall is new damage, not a failed repair.
- Faults other than the one repaired. If we replace the battery and the camera fails weeks later, those are different things.
- Work by third parties. If the device is opened elsewhere after our repair, we can no longer vouch for what’s inside.
- Normal wear of consumables, such as battery capacity declining with cycles.
- Software and data. The repair is hardware; backups are the customer’s responsibility.
How to claim
- 01Get in touchOn WhatsApp or by phone, telling us what’s happening and since when. The sooner the better.
- 02Bring it in with the invoiceThe invoice is what proves the date and the scope of the repair.
- 03We check itWe verify whether what’s happening falls within the warranty. If it does, it’s resolved at no cost. If it doesn’t, we explain why and quote you before doing anything.
Your rights as a consumer
This commercial warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and neither replaces nor limits them. As a consumer in Spain you are protected by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (the consolidated Consumer Protection Act) and by Catalan consumer regulations.
If anything is unclear or you’re unhappy, tell the workshop first — almost everything is sorted out by talking. And if that isn’t enough, the official complaint forms and the consumer services of the Generalitat de Catalunya are there for you.
Frequently asked questions
Does the warranty cover me dropping the phone?
No. A later drop is new damage, not a failed repair. Bring it in and we’ll quote you for the new damage.
Do I need the invoice?
Yes. It’s what proves what was repaired and when, so keep it for as long as the warranty runs.
What if the device had already been wet?
Liquid-damaged devices are a special case: corrosion can keep advancing even when the repair was done correctly. We explain that limitation before repairing, and it’s stated in writing on the quote.
Shall we take a look?
Tell us what’s wrong and we’ll tell you what it is, what it costs and how long it takes. No obligation, and the initial diagnosis is free.
